Víctor Gómez, born 1st April 2000, is a Spanish defender known for playing right back. Presently with SC Braga, he stands 5ft 7in (1.71m) tall and weighs in at 11st (70kg). A stalwart wearer of the number 2 jersey, he's an asset on the field.

Gómez's professional career originated in the ranks of Espanyol's trainees, joining in July 2016. An adept talent, he was soon pitched into first-team action. Across the 2019-2020 and 2021-2022 seasons with Espanyol in Spain, he graced the pitch in 19 league matches.
In a career-altering move in September 2020, Gómez was transferred on loan from Espanyol to Mirandes. With the Segunda División outfit, he made a significant 38 first-team appearances in the 2020 - 2021 season, even managing to bag a goal.
Upon the conclusion of his loan spell with Mirandes, Gómez made a brief return to Espanyol before securing another loan stint, this time with Malaga, in August 2021. His time at Malaga saw him assuming regular first-team duty, gracing the pitch in 35 league matches in the 2021 - 2022 season.
July 2022 marked a significant leap in Gómez's career as he transferred from Espanyol to SC Braga, marking an international move to Portugal's Liga Portugal. Displaying consistent performances, he has already made 83 first-team appearances across three and a bit seasons.
Following a loan spell, SC Braga grew keen to secure Gómez on a permanent basis and a deal to the tune of £1.8m, executed in July 2023, saw him become a full-fledged Braga player. He has since continued his sturdy performances, contributing to a number of league matches.
In addition to his domestic contributions, Gómez has proven to be a useful asset in European competitions. He participated in the Champions League and the Europa League for SC Braga in the 2023 - 2024 season. He also played in the Europa League qualifiers in the 2025 - 2026 season, netting one goal across three starts. Additionally, he also made appearances in the Europa League in the same season.
