Samuel Chukwueze, born on 22 May 1999 (age 27), is a Nigerian right winger with AC Milan, where he wears the number 21 shirt. His early senior football included loan spells which gave him the sort of practical education young wide players tend to need before anyone gets too excited about them.
The real body of his career was built at Villarreal. Across five seasons he made 155 league appearances and scored 21 league goals, becoming a steady first-team presence rather than a passing project. His most productive league campaign came in 2022-23, when he scored six times in 37 appearances.
He later moved on to AC Milan, and in 2026-27 he remains involved in the first-team picture. He has made 11 appearances across all competitions for Milan, including five in Serie A and one in the Europa League. He has also been active for Nigeria, with nine appearances in African World Cup qualifying.
Chukwueze’s career to this point is shaped mainly by Villarreal: early development, a long La Liga spell, and then a move to Milan, where he continues to have a role at club and international level.
