Joaquin Seys, born on 28 March 2005 (age 21), is a Belgian left-back whose senior career has so far been shaped almost entirely at Club Brugge. A compact 5ft 6in (1.67m) defender, he wears squad number 65 and has already become more than a fringe academy graduate passing through the first-team picture.
His breakthrough has come steadily rather than noisily. Across three league seasons with Club Brugge, Seys has made 54 league appearances and scored three goals. His most productive league campaign came in 2024-25, when he scored twice in 25 appearances, a useful return for a young full-back still building his senior habits.
He remained a regular presence in 2025-26, making 29 league appearances and scoring once. His wider season included Champions League minutes, domestic play-off involvement and a Super Cup appearance, taking him to 51 appearances and two goals for Club Brugge across all competitions. He has also been involved with Belgium, making two appearances in European World Cup qualifying.
His market value is around £3m, according to Transfermarkt. At this stage, Seys is a developing Belgian full-back with a firmly established role at Club Brugge and a career still centred on the club that brought him through.
