Jean-Baptiste Gorby’s senior career has been shaped mainly at SC Braga, where he has accumulated 70 league appearances and three league goals across five seasons. That is the spell that gives the clearest measure of him: steady involvement over time rather than a brief burst of attention.
His most productive league campaign came away from Braga, at Paços de Ferreira in 2023–24, when he scored two goals in 34 appearances. It stands out in his record, but it still reads as part of a wider Braga-centred career rather than a separate story taking over the page.
His current market value is around £4.5m, according to Transfermarkt. Gorby remains best understood as a developing midfielder whose career, so far, has been built overwhelmingly around SC Braga.
