Dylan Tait

Dylan Tait of Falkirk was born in Glasgow, Scotland on 1 December 2001 (age 24).

Dylan Tait, born on 1st December 2001, in the heartlands of Scotland, is known best for his role as a central midfielder. Currently, he demonstrates his guile and skill on the football field for Falkirk, the number 21 etched onto the back of his forest green shirt. Warranting attention with his muscular physique, Tait stands at a respectable 5 feet 9 inches (1.76m) and carries a weight of 11 stone (70kg).

His aptitude and dedication on the field have earned him a market worth of around £255,000 according to sources at Transfermarkt.

In January 2019, Tait's career trajectory turned north and he joined Raith Rovers in the Scottish Championship. His performance there was akin to a driver at the levers of steam engine, steadily pushing forward and in turn, grabbing the attention of the Scottish Premiership's Hibernian. By August 2021, he had transferred to Hibs only to be loaned back to Raith Rovers shortly the next month.

January 2022 marked the next landmark move on his career map, this time to Kilmarnock, still within the realm of the Premiership. However, within a span of eight months by September, Tait found himself on another loan spell at Arbroath in the Championship. His debut season, 2022 - 2023, saw him make his presence felt with 20 first team appearances in league matches.

Loans appeared to be a recurrent theme in his career and July 2023 was no different. Tait transferred from Hibernian to Hamilton Academical in the League One. By January 2024, he found his boots in Falkirk, still on a temporary basis. His performance, however, spoke volumes of his increasing prowess on the field - 33 first team appearances and netting two goals in the season 2024 - 2025.

This impressive display rang the bells at Falkirk who decided to seal a permanent deal with Tait by July 2024 for an undisclosed financial amount. His performances outdid those of the previous season with above par performances in both League Cup 2025 - 2026, where he scored four goals in four matches, one as a substitute, and the Scottish Cup 2025 - 2026, starting in four matches. He remains a key figure for Falkirk, making 33 first team appearances and scoring a commendable three goals in league matches in the current season, 2025 - 2026.
