Diego Rodrigues (born 24 May 2005, age 21) is a Portuguese centre midfielder whose senior career has been built at SC Braga. He is valued at around £4m by Transfermarkt, which is a fair reflection of a young player with a proper first-team footing rather than just academy promise.
Braga has given him the stage and most of the substance so far. Across three league seasons, Rodrigues has made 29 league appearances and scored two goals. His longest run came in 2025-26, when he made 20 league appearances and scored once, giving him the kind of regular exposure that matters more than the usual polite talk around prospects.
In 2026-27, he has made one Liga Portugal appearance for SC Braga and scored in it. His career remains at an early stage, but its shape is clear enough for now: a Portuguese midfielder developing through regular involvement at Braga, with his senior record still centred firmly there.
