Dani de Wit (born 28 January 1998, age 28) is a Dutch central attacking midfielder with FC Utrecht, wearing squad number 20. His game has been marked by a useful habit: he scores more often than the standard midfielder of his type, which makes him more than a neat presence between the lines.
His most productive league season came with Jong Ajax in 2017-18, when he scored 13 goals in 32 appearances. That was the early marker in his career, and it set the tone for a midfielder whose value has often been tied to arriving in scoring positions rather than simply keeping play moving.
At Utrecht in 2026-27, de Wit has made 12 appearances in all competitions and scored three goals. In the Eredivisie, he has two goals from eight appearances, with another goal coming in the KNVB Beker. His current market value is around £2m, according to Transfermarkt.
De Wit’s career to date is that of an established Dutch attacking midfielder with a steady scoring return from midfield. Utrecht is his current club, and his role remains built around providing end product from central areas.
