Christian Pulišić, born on 18 September 1998 (age 27), is a United States international who plays primarily from the right for AC Milan. His senior career was built in Europe from a young age, with Borussia Dortmund giving him the platform before Chelsea moved for him and loaned him back to Dortmund for the remainder of that season.
That return loan mattered. It kept him playing in a familiar side rather than leaving him parked between clubs, and it helped bridge the move from promising Dortmund attacker to Premier League signing. His Chelsea spell had its productive runs and its interruptions, which is hardly a rare tale for wide players asked to live off rhythm.
AC Milan has given him a more settled stage. His best league campaign came in 2023-2024, when he scored 12 goals in 36 appearances, a useful return without needing the usual transatlantic inflation around it.
He remains a regular first-team presence in 2025-2026. For Milan this season, he has made 34 appearances in all competitions and scored 10 goals, including eight in 30 Serie A matches, with two more in three Coppa Italia appearances and one Supercoppa outing. He has also made one World Cup appearance for the United States.
Pulišić’s career has run from early promise at Dortmund, through a more uneven Chelsea period, to a steadier and more productive role in Milan. He is still in the side, still contributing, and still more than a name on a team sheet.
