Amine El Ouazzani, born on 15 July 2001 in France, is a young professional footballer best renowned for his role as a forward, primarily as a striker, for SC Braga. Standing at a height of 6ft 2in (1.88m) and tipping the scales at 11st 11lb (75kg), El Ouazzani cuts a formidable figure on the pitch, donning the number 9 jersey.
His prowess on the field has led to an impressive market value, currently estimated to be around £3m, according to Transfermarkt.
El Ouazzani's professional career began in July 2019 when he joined Bourg-en-Bresse in the Championnat National in his homeland of France. His tenure here was short-lived, however, as he made the transfer to Guingamp in the Ligue 2 in France in November of 2022 for an undisclosed fee.
During his debut season 2022-23 at Guingamp, El Ouazzani showed considerable promise. The young striker made 23 first-team appearances and tallied a respectable seven goals in league matches. He continued to impress in the following season, 2023-24, enhancing his tally to 11 goals from 38 first-team appearances.
In July 2024, Amine El Ouazzani made the move from France to Portugal, transferring from Guingamp to SC Braga in the Liga Portugal for a fee of roughly £3m. His skill and tenacity continued to shine through in his new locale, as he made 33 first-team appearances and netted seven goals in league matches during the 2024-25 season. The current season, 2025-26, has also started promisingly for him, with six first-team appearances and two goals thus far.
El Ouazzani has also extended his expertise to participation in European league matches. He featured in the Europa League Qualifiers 2025-26 for SC Braga with four appearances as a substitute, as well as in the Europa League 2025-26 for SC Braga, where he started twice.
