Zach Mitchell

Zach Mitchell of St Johnstone was born on 9 January 2005 (age 21).

Zach Mitchell is an English central defender, born on 9 January 2005 (age 21). His early senior league football came at Charlton Athletic, where he made one league appearance in the 2022-23 season.

His career has been shaped far more clearly at St Johnstone. Across two seasons in Perth, Mitchell has made 14 league appearances, including six in 2026-27, with his role centred on the middle of the defence rather than anything more decorative.

Transfermarkt values him at around £170,000. At this stage, his senior career is a straightforward one: a young English defender whose meaningful first-team work has largely come with St Johnstone.
