Yan Dhanda, born on 14 December 1998 (age 27), is an English attacking midfielder with Hearts, where he wears squad number 31. He is a tidy central creator rather than a headline-grabber, the sort of player whose value tends to sit in the spaces between the obvious moments.
His most productive league season came at Ross County in 2022-23, when he scored five goals in 30 appearances. That gave his career a clear Scottish Premiership foothold and led on to Hearts, where expectations are never especially patient for midfielders asked to make things happen.
In 2026-27, Dhanda has made one league appearance for Hearts, along with two League Cup appearances, scoring once, and two Scottish Cup appearances. Across all competitions for the club that season, he has five appearances and one goal.
His current market value is around £340,000, according to Transfermarkt. His career to this point is that of an established Scottish Premiership player, with his best league return still coming from that Ross County season.
