Wesley, born on 6 September 2003 (age 23), is a Brazilian right-back now with Roma. His current market value is around £21.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His senior reputation was built at Flamengo, where he made 78 league appearances and scored two league goals over four seasons. That spell remains the main body of his career to date, rather than a mere staging post.
Roma brought him into Serie A, and the move quickly gave him a more productive attacking return. In 2025–26 he scored five league goals in 30 appearances, his strongest league season so far. In 2026–27 he has made four Serie A appearances.
At 23, Wesley’s career has moved from a substantial Flamengo grounding to a developing role at Roma, with his best scoring season already coming in Italy.
