Unax Álvarez is a Spanish left winger, born on 16 February 2002 (age 24), now with St Johnstone. His senior career to date is shaped far more by his spell at CD Guadalajara than by anything around it.
Across two league seasons with Guadalajara, Álvarez made 67 appearances and scored 20 goals. His best return came in 2025–26, when he scored 12 times in 35 league matches – a decent level of output from wide areas, without needing the usual embroidery.
Álvarez’s record is still a developing one, but the pattern is clear enough: Guadalajara provided the substantial part of his football so far, and St Johnstone is the next stage of that career.
