Uche Ikpeazu, born on 28 February 1995 (age 31), is a Uganda international striker currently with Cambridge United. A commanding 6ft 3in (1.91m) forward, he has built his career around physical presence and direct centre-forward work rather than anything especially ornamental.
Cambridge United has been an important stop in his career. His most productive league season came there in 2017-18, when he scored nine goals in 26 appearances. For a striker of his type, that was a useful return rather than a spectacular one, but it remains the clearest scoring peak of his senior career.
He is now back at Cambridge United, with his current market value put at around £128,000 by Transfermarkt. His career has been that of an established professional centre-forward, valued for size, effort and presence, with Cambridge providing both his best league scoring spell and his present base.
