Toyosi Olusanya, hailing from England, was born on 1 February 1998, now aged 27. The forward's present allegiance remains with St Mirren where he predominantly features as a left winger. The agile player stands roughly 5ft 11in (1.81m) in height and maintains a weight of around 10st 9lb (68kg). On the field, Olusanya can be spotted flaunting the number 20 jersey.
In the course of his career, Olusanya has seen numerous transfers. His journey began back in July 2015, when he joined AFC Wimbledon in England's League Two, marking the start of his professional football career. In his debut season 2015-16 with AFC Wimbledon, Olusanya managed to make one first-team appearance, where he contributed one goal in league matches.
By November 2016, Olusanya moved on loan to Kingstonian after which he transferred to Gosport Borough and later to Bishop's Stortford in England's lower Leagues in quick succession. His wandering continued as he switched his commitment to Cheshunt and then to Billericay Town in the Southern Football League during July 2019 and July 2020 respectively.
Olusanya's breakthrough would come in August 2021 when he was transferred to Middlesbrough in England's Championship. He made three first team appearances in the 2021-22 season. This was followed by another significant transfer in July 2022 when Olusanya shifted to St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.
In his inaugural 2022-23 season at St Mirren, he made 35 first team appearances and scored a notable six goals. The current 2024-2025 season sees Olusanya in splendid form having already made 28 first team appearances and scored eight goals in league matches.
A brief loan period surfaced in January 2023, during which Olusanya transferred to Arbroath in Scotland's League One. However, he would return to St Mirren in June 2023 following the completion of his loan. In the intervening period at Arbroath, Olusanya made nine first team appearances and clinched one goal.
Olusanya has shown his versatility across various league and cup matches, showcasing his skills and tallying noteworthy records. In the 2024-25 season, he participated in the League Cup for St Mirren with one start, and also featured in the Scottish Cup, scoring two goals in two starts, and the Conference League Qualifiers, where he netted two goals in three starts and made an appearance as a substitute.
