Tom Ritchie, a Scottish born footballer, was born on 27 January 2003, making him treasure 22 years of life so far. Known for his prowess as a goalkeeper, he is currently signed to Aberdeen and proudly wears the number 25 jersey on the field. With his 5 feet 11 inches (1.82m) height and 12 stone 1 pound (77kg) weight, Ritchie is an imposing figure between the posts.
His current contract with Aberdeen is approaching its end, with a mere 4 months remaining and set to expire on the 31st of May 2025. Ritchie's journey through the football universe started in earnest in July 2018, when he joined Aberdeen in the Premiership in Scotland, setting the stage for his career. Unfortunately, the current 2024 - 2025 season at Aberdeen hasn't offered him any first team appearances in league matches.
However, his career sparkled with action in July 2022 when he was loaned out from Aberdeen to Queen of the South in the League One in Scotland. This action soon escalated, as by September 2022, Ritchie saw another transfer, this time to Peterhead in the League Two in Scotland. Ritchie effectively used this opportunity to advance his experience, making a commendable 17 first team appearances in league matches during his debut 2022 - 2023 season at Peterhead. On completion of his loan, he returned back to his parent club, Aberdeen in January 2023.
Nevertheless, Ritchie's journey didn't end there. In the January of the same year, he saw another round of loan transfer to Peterhead, repeating his previous achievement of 17 first team appearances in his debut season. Post this successful stint, he returned to Aberdeen with more experience under his belt.
The calendar year 2024 brought another turn in Ritchie's career. This time he was loaned to Bonnyrigg Rose in the League Two in Scotland in July. He returned to his parent club Aberdeen in December 2024 after completing that term. As it stands during the current 2024 - 2025 season, the sophisticated manoeuvres of Ritchie are yet to grace the field in first team league matches for Aberdeen.
