Stevie Mallan

Stevie Mallan of St Mirren was born in Glasgow, Scotland on 25 March 1996 (age 30).

Stevie Mallan, born on 25 March 1996 (age 30), is a Scottish attacking midfielder with St Mirren, wearing squad number 14. A central player by trade, he has generally been at his best when allowed to play forward and strike the ball from range, rather than being buried in deeper midfield traffic.

His most productive league season came with St Mirren in 2015-16, when he scored 11 goals in 34 appearances. That remains the cleanest snapshot of what he can offer: decent output from midfield, technical quality, and a useful set-piece threat without any need to dress it up too much.

In 2026-27, Mallan has made two League Cup appearances for St Mirren. His current market value is listed at around £43,000 by Transfermarkt.

Mallan's career has included a move from Hibernian to Yeni Malatyaspor in July 2021, a free transfer to Salford City in July 2022 and a series of shorter-term arrangements that led to St Johnstone in July 2025 and a trialist switch to St Mirren in July 2026; the sequence reflects an overseas spell followed by a return to British clubs and shorter contracts as he moves into his thirties.
