Seny Dieng, born on 23 November 1994 (age 31), is a Senegalese goalkeeper with Middlesbrough. An imposing presence at 6ft 4in (1.93m), he wears the number one shirt and is valued at around £850,000 by Transfermarkt.
The main body of Dieng’s career came at Queens Park Rangers, where he made 116 league appearances across three seasons. For a goalkeeper, his 2022-23 campaign carried the unusual footnote of a league goal, as well as 46 appearances, making it his fullest season in the side.
He later moved on to Middlesbrough, where his role has been more limited recently. In 2025-26, he has made three Championship appearances.
