Seán Gannon

Seán Gannon of Shelbourne was born in Dublin, Rep. Ireland on 11 July 1991 (age 35).

Seán Gannon, born 11 July 1991 (age 35), is a Republic of Ireland right-back with Shelbourne. He has been around long enough for the word experienced to mean something useful rather than merely polite.

His most productive league season came with Dundalk in 2014, when he scored two goals in 33 appearances. For a full-back, that is a decent return without needing much dressing up.

Gannon remains a regular first-team presence for Shelbourne in 2026. He has made 25 appearances across all competitions, including 22 in the Premier Division and three in Conference League qualifying.

His career is that of an established Irish full-back who has carried his senior role from Dundalk into a continuing place in Shelbourne’s side.
