Ryan Mullen, born on 18 May 2001 (age 25), is a Scottish goalkeeper whose senior career has been shaped far more by Greenock Morton than by the larger club he passed through early on.
He joined Celtic from Cove Rangers in October 2020, a move that put him into a demanding environment at a formative stage. It was not where his professional career properly settled, and in September 2022 he left Celtic for Clyde, where he made three league appearances in the 2022-23 season.
Morton then became the substantial part of the story. Across two seasons at Cappielow, Mullen made 47 league appearances, giving him the run of first-team football that had eluded him earlier. For a goalkeeper still building a career, that spell carries the real weight.
He is now with St Mirren, where he made one Scottish Cup appearance in 2026-27. His path so far has been that of a keeper who passed through Celtic, found his main body of work at Greenock Morton, and has continued his career within the Scottish game.
