Rodrigo Pinho, born on 30 January 1991 (age 35), is a Brazilian striker with AVS. His career has been shaped largely in Portuguese football, after early loan spells gave him the minutes and rough edges most forwards need before becoming useful at senior level.
Those development years mattered. Pinho did not arrive as a ready-made centre-forward, and his path was less about sudden elevation than steady accumulation: loans, regular football, and the gradual hardening that comes with having to produce away from the comfort of a parent club.
His best league return came with Marítimo in 2019–20, when he scored nine goals in 27 appearances. That remains the clearest marker of his peak productivity, a solid season rather than anything requiring brass bands.
Now at AVS, Pinho has started the 2026–27 campaign with four goals in three Liga Portugal 2 appearances. Transfermarkt values him at around £213,000.
Pinho’s career has been that of a seasoned Brazilian striker who found his most consistent platform in Portugal: developed through loans, productive at Marítimo, and still contributing at AVS.
