Nicolò Cambiaghi

In Serie A 2026–27 Cambiaghi has made five appearances, all starts, and collected one yellow card; he is yet to register a goal this league campaign and has also played in World Cup Qualifiers Europe (one appearance), the Nations League (two appearances) and the Supercoppa (two appearances) – the all-starts pattern when selected suggests a manager who trusts him in the XI but limited minutes so far point to a rotational role.

Cambiaghi is 25, Italian and plays as a left wing; he joined Atalanta as a trainee in July 2016 and developed through a series of loan spells at Reggiana (August 2020), Pordenone (July 2021) and Empoli (August 2022) before completing a permanent move to Bologna in July 2024. His most notable scoring returns came in 2021–22 with seven goals and in 2022–23 with six, indicating his peak productive seasons occurred during the early 2020s.

After graduating to Atalanta's first-team pathway, Cambiaghi spent successive loans at Reggiana, Pordenone and Empoli before moving to Bologna for a fee of €8.6m in July 2024 – the permanent transfer followed a period of development via those loan moves and represents his clearest step into a stable top-flight role.
