Nicolò Cambiaghi

Nicolò Cambiaghi of Bologna was born in Monza, Italy on 28 December 2000 (age 25).

Born on the 28th of December 2000, Nicolò Cambiaghi is an impressive forward hailing from Italy, who currently plies his trade as a left winger for Bologna. Measuring at a height of 5ft 8in (1.73m) and weighing 10st 3lb (65kg), this 25-year-old has also had the honour of representing his country at an international level. Cambiaghi dons the number 28 jersey as a tribute to his birth date.

According to Transfermarkt, he holds a strong market value, rated approximately at £7.5m.

Cambiaghi's football journey started as a trainee with Italian Serie A team Atalanta in July of 2016. By August of 2020, he had moved, on loan, to Reggiana in Serie B. During his debut season of 2020-2021 with Reggiana, the promising young forward made 18 first team appearances in league matches.

Refusing to settle, Cambiaghi sought new challenges, joining Serie C side Pordenone, on loan once again from Atalanta, in July 2021. During the 2021-2022 season with Pordenone, Cambiaghi displayed his prowess as a striker, making 36 first team appearances and scoring seven goals in league matches.

In August of 2022, Cambiaghi transitioned to another Serie B side, Empoli, still on loan from Atalanta, and he was quick to make his mark. He appeared in 28 first team matches where he netted six goals in the 2022-2023 season, followed by a further 37 appearances and one goal in the subsequent 2023-2024 season.

Finally, in July 2024, Cambiaghi made a significant and permanent move, transferring from Atalanta to Bologna in the Serie A for a sum of approximately £8.6m. He has since made 18 appearances and scored one goal in the 2024-2025 season, and already boasts 17 appearances with three goals in the current 2025-2026 season.

Cambiaghi's career highlights feature his participation in the 2024 - 2026 World Cup Qualifiers Europe for Italy, where he had one appearance as a substitute. He also featured in the 2025 - 2026 Supercoppa for Bologna, starting in one match and appearing as a substitute in another. In the same season, he was seen in the Europa League for Bologna, making three starts and two substitute appearances.
