Born on the 28th of December 2000, Nicolò Cambiaghi is an impressive forward hailing from Italy, who currently plies his trade as a left winger for Bologna. Refusing to settle, Cambiaghi sought new challenges, joining Serie C side Pordenone, on loan once again from Atalanta, in July 2021. During the 2021-2022 season with Pordenone, Cambiaghi displayed his prowess as a striker, making 36 first team appearances and scoring seven goals in league matches.
In August of 2022, Cambiaghi transitioned to another Serie B side, Empoli, still on loan from Atalanta, and he was quick to make his mark. He appeared in 28 first team matches where he netted six goals in the 2022-2023 season, followed by a further 37 appearances and one goal in the subsequent 2023-2024 season.
Finally, in July 2024, Cambiaghi made a significant and permanent move, transferring from Atalanta to Bologna in the Serie A for a sum of approximately £8.6m. He has since made 18 appearances and scored one goal in the 2024-2025 season, and already boasts 17 appearances with three goals in the current 2025-2026 season.
Cambiaghi's career highlights feature his participation in the 2024 - 2026 World Cup Qualifiers Europe for Italy, where he had one appearance as a substitute. He also featured in the 2025 - 2026 Supercoppa for Bologna, starting in one match and appearing as a substitute in another. In the same season, he was seen in the Europa League for Bologna, making three starts and two substitute appearances.
