Nicky Devlin, born on the 17th of October, 1993, is a 32-year-old Scottish defender who regularly wears the number 2 jersey while portraying his primary position as a right back for Aberdeen Football Club. Standing 6 feet (1.83 metres) tall and weighing 12st 6lb (79 kg), he's a solid presence in the defensive line.

Devlin began his senior career with Dumbarton FC in Scotland's League Two back in 2010. After making 23 appearances in his debut season, he made a further 16 appearances during the 2012 - 2013 season. 2011 saw Devlin make a move to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership; however, he'd spend most of his time away on loan.
Devlin was loaned out on three separate occasions to Stenhousemuir in League One, where he made a total of 44 first team appearances across three seasons. He also had a loan spell returning to Dumbarton where, in between time spent at Stenhousemuir, he added another 16 league appearances to his 2010 – 2011 tally.
In July 2014, the defender made a permanent move away from Motherwell to join Ayr United in the Championship. Over three seasons he racked up a century of appearances, and also managed to net three goals. His form in Scotland's second tier caught the attention from down south, and in July 2017 he moved to Walsall in England's League Two.
Having left his mark in a single season at Walsall with 18 league appearances, Devlin made his return to the Scottish Premiership in 2019 with Livingston. During his four seasons at Livingston, he made 122 appearance with six goals.
In July 2023, Nicky Devlin took on a new challenge at Aberdeen where his performances continued to impress. So far, he has been on the pitch wearing the Aberdeen kit 78 times, and has found the back of the net six times. His current 2025 - 2026 season shows that he has already made ten first team appearances.
Devlin's contributions haven't been limited to the Scottish Premiership. He's also featured in League Cup, Scottish Cup and Europa League Qualifiers recreationally, as well as clocking in appearances in both the 2024 - 2025 and 2025 - 2026 editions of the Conference League, the latter of which saw him score his first goal in the competition.
