Nathan Moriah-Welsh, born on the 18th of March 2002 in England, is a central midfielder presently advancing his career with Hibernian in Scotland's Premiership. Standing at 5ft 8in (1.75m) and weighing 11st (70kg), Moriah-Welsh steps over the field donned in the number 22 jersey.
Moriah-Welsh cut his footballing teeth at Bournemouth in the Premier League, joining their ranks as a trainee in July 2018. His journey continued when in August 2022, he was loaned from Bournemouth to Newport County, a club down in England's League Two.
His 2022 - 2023 debut season with Newport County saw Moriah-Welsh make a significant contribution to the side, with history recording his 28 first team appearances and three goals scored in league matches. The following year in June 2023, he duly returned to Bournemouth upon the completion of his loan period.
Though having home advantage on his side, Moriah-Welsh’s association with Bournemouth didn't last long. By January 2024, Moriah-Welsh was off north of the border, transferring to Hibernian in Scotland's Premiership, for an undisclosed fee.
His inaugural season 2023 - 2024 with Hibernian saw him making 14 first team appearances in league matches. As of the current season 2024 - 2025, Moriah-Welsh has continued his active participation for Hibernian, having chalked up another 13 first team appearances in league matches thus far.
Beyond the league, Moriah-Welsh has proved his mettle in the Scottish tournament scene. During the League Cup 2024 - 2025, he scored one goal over three starts and two appearances as a substitute. The Scottish Cup of the same year saw him starting once and appearing off the bench another time.
