Born on 12 December 1995, Mark O'Hara is a 30-year-old Scottish central midfielder currently with the ranks of St Mirren. Standing at 6ft 2in (1.88m) and tipping the scales at 12st 8lb (80kg), O'Hara commands the midfield in his number 6 jersey. With a current market value hovering around the £600k mark, according to Transfermarkt, O'Hara has been a professional since 2012, where he began his career as a trainee at Kilmarnock.
Over his four seasons at Kilmarnock, he gradually established himself in the first team, featuring in 78 league matches and netting a goal in his debut season (2012 - 2013). In the summer of 2016, O'Hara inked a move to Dundee, where he continued to be a regular feature in the midfield. At Dundee, he played in 60 league matches over two seasons, finding the back of the net 10 times.
In 2018, O'Hara made his first venture outside of Scottish football, leaving Dundee to join English side Peterborough United, before a brief six-month loan stint at Lincoln City the following year. Having made a limited impact in England, he returned to Scotland, this time on loan at Motherwell. He made an immediate impact, slotting in for 17 appearances and a goal in his debut season (2019 - 2020).
His successful loan spell led to a permanent move to Motherwell in July 2020, where he continued his solid performances in the Scottish Premiership. During his time at Motherwell, he played in 63 league matches and found the net seven times across three seasons.
In July 2022, O'Hara made a transfer from Motherwell to St Mirren, where he has continued to be a viable presence in the midfield. So far, he has put in 113 appearances in 4 seasons, including his 18 so far in the current season (2025 - 2026), and netted 20 goals. In the current season, O'Hara has also represented St Mirren in the League Cup and the Scottish Cup, starting in six and two games, respectively.
