Liam Polworth, born on 12 October 1994 (age 31), is a Scottish centre midfielder now with Livingston. His senior career was shaped early at Inverness CT, where he became a regular rather than just another tidy young midfielder passing through the system.
His strongest league campaign came in 2015-16 with Inverness CT, when he scored six goals in 36 appearances. That was the season which best showed the useful side of his game: steady enough in midfield, but with enough end product to matter.
Polworth is currently at Livingston, wearing squad number 39. In 2026-27, he has made six Championship appearances, scoring once, and has also played three times in the League Cup, giving him nine appearances and one goal across all competitions for the club.
His career has been that of an established Scottish midfielder: developed at Inverness CT, productive there at his peak, and still involved at senior level with Livingston.
