Lewis Neilson is a Scottish central defender, born on 15 May 2003 (age 23), and on the books at Hearts. An imposing 6ft 3in (1.91m), he has the frame for the position, though his career is still more about steady accumulation than any great statement.
His fullest league season came in 2023-24 at Partick Thistle, where he made 36 appearances and scored once. For a young defender, that was useful mileage: regular football, proper responsibility, and not much room for hiding.
In 2025-26, Neilson made 16 league appearances for Falkirk. His career to this point has been that of a developing Scottish centre-half building senior experience away from the bigger glare, with Hearts still the main reference point on his CV.
