Here, he took to the field ten times throughout the 2023-2024 season, yet failed to mark his presence with a goal.
But his adventure in Scotland was far from over. In August of the same year, Phillips transferred from Crystal Palace to another Scottish Premiership club, St Mirren, on a loan basis. During the 2024-2025 season at St Mirren, he notched up thirty-five appearances and an encouraging four goals. His endeavour continued into the 2025-2026 season, where Phillips boasts thirty-three appearances and three goals so far.
Phillips then reached a watershed moment in his career. In July 2025, he bid farewell to Crystal Palace and journeyed north for good, officially transferring to St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership. Echoing his performance the previous year, he achieved another impressive tally of thirty-five appearances and four goals during the 2024-2025 season. His current season (2025-2026) has been no less remarkable, marking up thirty-three appearances and three goals so far.
A diverse competitor, Phillips's talents also extend to cup competitions and international qualifiers. He participated in St Mirren’s run in the League Cup 2025-2026, scoring four goals across eight starts. He also featured in the Scottish Cup 2025-2026 for St Mirren, where he started four matches. On top of that, he earned an appearance as a substitute in the World Cup Qualifiers Europe 2024-2026 for Republic of Ireland.
