Kaly Sène, born on 28 May 2001 (age 25), is a Senegalese striker with senior experience at Lausanne-Sport and Middlesbrough. He is listed as Middlesbrough’s number 20, with a market value of around £1.5m according to Transfermarkt.
His most productive league season came at Lausanne-Sport in 2023–24, when he scored 12 goals in 36 appearances. That remains the clearest marker in his record so far: a solid return, without needing dressed up as something more dramatic.
In 2025–26, Sène stayed in regular first-team use. He made 28 league appearances for Middlesbrough, scoring two goals, before a further spell at Lausanne-Sport brought three goals in three league games. That late scoring run gave his season a sharper edge than the Middlesbrough tally alone would suggest.
Sène is an established professional still building the shape of his career: a striker with one strong Swiss league campaign behind him, regular minutes in England, and recent goals back at Lausanne-Sport.
