Josh Rae, born on 17 October 2000 (age 25), is a Scottish goalkeeper with Raith Rovers. An imposing 6ft 3in (1.91m), he wears the number one shirt and is valued at around £170,000 by Transfermarkt.
His senior career has been shaped mainly at Raith, where he has made 59 league appearances across three seasons. For a goalkeeper still building his profile, that is the spell with real substance rather than a footnote in a tidy career list.
Before that, his 2022-23 league campaign with Airdrieonians brought eight appearances. It was useful experience, but Raith is where the clearer body of work has come.
In 2026-27, Rae has made 13 appearances for Raith in all competitions, including nine in the Championship, three in the League Cup and one in the Scottish Cup. His career remains a straightforward one so far: a tall Scottish goalkeeper whose professional record is now tied most closely to Raith Rovers.
