Jason Kerr, born on 6 February 1997 (age 29), is a Scottish central defender now with Hibernian, where he wears the number six shirt.
His early loan spell at East Fife gave him the sort of senior football that tends to matter more than polite academy promise. In 2016-17 he made 33 league appearances and scored eight goals, an unusually productive return for a centre-half and a useful marker of how quickly he adapted to proper first-team demands.
At Hibernian in 2026-27, Kerr has made three league appearances, one in the League Cup, and five in Conference League qualifying, scoring once in Europe. Across all competitions for Hibs that season, he has made nine appearances and scored one goal.
Kerrโs career has been built on steady defensive work, with that East Fife season standing out as an important early step. He is now an established Scottish Premiership defender at Hibernian.
