Jardell Kanga, born on 13 December 2005 (age 20), is a Swedish left winger with Motherwell. Compact at 5ft 6in (1.68m), he wears squad number 13 and plays from the left rather than through the middle.
His career to date is shaped mainly by Ilves. Across two league seasons there, Kanga made 47 appearances and scored 15 goals, with 2026 his most productive year: 10 goals in 20 league matches. That spell is still the substantial part of his senior record.
At Motherwell in 2026â27, he has made six league appearances and scored once. He has also played five times in Conference League qualifiers, adding another goal, taking him to 11 appearances and two goals in all competitions for the club.
Kanga remains a developing wide player whose senior career has been built chiefly on his Ilves spell, with Motherwell now the next stage.
