Jamie Sneddon, born on 6 September 1997 (age 28), is a Scottish goalkeeper whose senior career has been built chiefly with Partick Thistle. He is not a player who needs much dressing up: a steady domestic keeper, working in a part of the game where reliability tends to matter more than decoration.
His most notable league season came in 2022–23, when he made 14 appearances for Partick Thistle and was credited with one goal – an unusual enough detail for a goalkeeper without turning it into folklore. His form this season has been solid and consistent, which is about the minimum requirement and often the main compliment in that position.
Transfermarkt values him at around £128,000. Sneddon’s career to date is that of an established Scottish professional goalkeeper, with Partick Thistle providing the main body of his work.
