Jakub Kamiński, born on 5 June 2002 (age 24), is a Poland international left winger with Benfica. He first made his name at Lech Poznań, where his 2021-22 league season gave a clear sense of his attacking usefulness: 9 goals in 33 appearances from wide areas.
That Lech spell remains the most productive league campaign of his career so far. It was not a case of a winger briefly looking busy without much end product; he had enough output to be noticed beyond Poland, and his move on from Poznań followed naturally enough.
At Benfica in 2026-27, Kamiński has made 5 appearances across all competitions, including one in Liga Portugal and four in Europa League qualifying. His form this season has been solid, though he has been out of the matchday squad in recent weeks. His last appearance came in Benfica’s 3-1 win over AGF on 20 August 2026.
Internationally, he has also been active for Poland this season, with 10 appearances and 2 goals in European World Cup qualifying. For a player still only 24, his career has already taken him from Lech Poznań to Benfica and into regular involvement with his national side.
