Jacob Ramsey (born 28 May 2001, age 25) is an English centre midfielder with Newcastle United, wearing squad number 41. His current market value is around £34m, according to Transfermarkt.
Ramsey’s career has been shaped above all by Aston Villa. After early loan football helped move him from academy promise towards first-team regularity, he became a substantial Villa presence, making 137 league appearances and scoring 14 league goals across six seasons.
His best league return came in 2021-22, when he scored six times in 34 appearances for Villa. That was the season which gave his midfield running a bit more edge on the page as well as on the pitch, without turning him into something he was not.
