Jacob Devaney, born on 11 June 2007 (age 19), is a Republic of Ireland central defensive midfielder with Hibernian. He wears number 24 and is valued at around £213,000 by Transfermarkt.
His senior career has so far been shaped most clearly by St Mirren. In the 2025–26 season he made 13 league appearances, giving him the main body of first-team football in his record to date. It is not a long spell, but at this stage it is the one that gives the career its outline.
At Hibernian in 2026–27, Devaney has made five league appearances, one League Cup appearance and three in the Scottish Cup, scoring once in that competition. Across all competitions for Hibs, he has nine appearances and one goal.
Devaney remains a young midfielder building a senior career, with St Mirren providing the clearest early run of league football and Hibernian now the next step.
