Jack Iredale

Jack Iredale of Hibernian was born in Greenock, Scotland on 2 May 1996 (age 28).

Jack Iredale, a defender by trade who was born in Scotland on 2 May 1996, is currently fending off advances from the left wing for Hibernian FC. Not lacking in stature, Iredale measures in at 6ft (1.84m) and tips the scales at 11st 13lb (76kg). The Hibernian number 3 is in the prime at 28 years old.

His current market value can be safely estimated at approximately £212.5k, based on information from the helpful staff at Transfermarkt. His contract at Hibernian still has a healthy 1 year and 3 months left to run, and is expected to come to an end on 31 May 2026.

Iredale took a plunge into the Scottish Championship from the Australian National Premier Leagues, transferring from ECU Joondalup to Greenock Morton in July 2017. A short time later, in August of the same year, Iredale packed his kit bag once again to grace the pitch at Queen's Park, courtesy of a loan contract.

Iredale made a measurable impact in his debut season at Queen's Park, 2017 to 2018, by placing his name on the team sheet 14 times and hitting the back of the net one time in league matches. In January 2018, he returned to Greenock Morton, again breaking free from his loan deal.

July 2019 saw Iredale crossing the border, where he transferred from Greenock Morton to Carlisle United in the fourth tier of English football, known as League Two. Reinforcing his nomadic tendencies, he switched from Carlisle United to Cambridge United in the League One in August 2020. He then put a foot back into League One football in July 2022, but this time partnering with Bolton Wanderers.

Whilst at Bolton Wanderers during the 2022 to 2023 season, Iredale graced there league match stage 19 times. As the summer of 2024 rolled in, Iredale returned to his Scottish roots, by accepting a deal from Hibernian FC, the transfer fee remaining a mystery.

Currently living through the 2024 to 2025 season at Hibernian, Iredale has been part and parcel of 19 first team league matches and has celebrated scoring once. He has also been chosen to start three times in the Scottish Cup campaign of 2024 to 2025.
