Born on the 25th of January, 1998 in the Republic of Korea, Gue-sung Cho is a forward who primarily takes to the pitch as a striker for the Danish club, FC Midtjylland. Now 27, Cho stands tall at 6ft 2in (1.88m) and weighs about 11 stone (70kg). He dons the number 10 jersey for his team and has also proudly represented the national team of the Republic of Korea.

His career began in the FC Anyang team of Korea Republic during the 2019 season where Cho made 33 first team appearances and scored 14 goals. In the following year, he moved to Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, also in the Korea Republic. His performance, characterised by making 23 first team appearances and scoring four goals, was commendable but his talent was truly beginning to shine through.
In the 2021 season, Cho joined Gimcheon Sangmu, where he made 25 appearances and scored eight times. His best was yet to come as in the 2022 season with the same team, Cho made 23 first team appearances and scored an impressive 13 goals. He then rejoined Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors for the 2022 season, where he scored nine times in 20 appearances.
Cho then took his career out of his home country and into Denmark, joining FC Midtjylland for the 2023 - 2024 season. He made 30 first team appearances during that season and again managed to place the ball in the back of the net 12 times. Currently, in the 2025 - 2026 season, Cho has two first team appearances under his belt.
Cho's international career has also been noteworthy. He participated in the World Cup Qualifiers for Asia in 2024 - 2026, representing Korea Rep., where he scored once in four appearances - three of those being starts.
