Grant Savoury, born on 7 July 2000 (age 26), is a Scottish attacking midfielder with Greenock Morton. A compact player at 5ft 7in (1.71m), he came through a route that included an early Celtic stop, though his senior career has taken shape mostly away from Glasgow’s bigger stages.
He joined Celtic from Edinburgh City in June 2020, then left in October 2021 for Peterhead. That Celtic spell remains a notable early marker rather than the centre of the story. After leaving, he moved through Peterhead and Greenock Morton before finding his most settled and productive period at Queen’s Park.
At Queen’s Park, Savoury made 52 league appearances over three seasons and scored 10 league goals. His best return came in 2022–2023, when he scored 10 times in 35 league games. That is the spell which gives his career its clearest shape.
He has since been with Greenock Morton, making 15 league appearances in 2025–2026, along with two Scottish Cup outings. His current market value is around £170,000, according to Transfermarkt.
Savoury’s career runs from Edinburgh City to Celtic, then on through Peterhead, Morton and Queen’s Park, with his strongest senior work coming at Queen’s Park before his current period at Morton.
