Gianluca Scamacca, born on 1 January 1999 (age 27), is an Italy striker with Atalanta, where he wears the number 9 shirt. A commanding 6ft 5in (1.95m) centre-forward, he has long looked built for the role, though his career has taken a few turns before settling into its current shape.
