An Italian forward who crafts his magic primarily from the right-wing, Federico Bernardeschi is a recognised figure within the world of football. Born on the 16th of February, 1994, he now sports the number 10 jersey for Bologna. A solid build of 1.83m (6ft) in height and weighing 75kg (11st 11lb), Bernardeschi is a formidable presence on the field.
Having kicked off his career at Fiorenta as a trainee in July 2009, Federico's current market value is estimated to be around €3.50m, translating roughly to £3m as per Transfermarkt.
After four years at Fiorentina, Bernardeschi was loaned to Crotone in 2013. Despite the unfamiliar surroundings, he flourished, notching up 12 goals from 38 appearances in his debut season. Following the conclusion of his loan term, Bernardeschi returned to Fiorentina in July 2014. He spent the next three seasons there, featuring in a total of 72 matches and managing to find the back of the net 14 times.
His performance evidently caught the eye of The Old Lady, and in 2017 Bernardeschi found himself transferring from Fiorentina to Juventus, for a considerable fee of about £35m. Over a five-year spell at Juventus, he made 134 appearances in league matches and scored eight goals.
The following chapter of his career saw him cross the Atlantic in July 2022, to join Toronto FC in the MLS. With 31 goals from 88 appearances, he showcased his class in North America. However, in 2025, he decided to trace his steps back to Italy and signed for Bologna.
In the current season (2025-2026), Bernardeschi has made 14 first team appearances for Bologna and has netted once already. In addition to his league outings, he has also been featured in the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa for Bologna, managing a start in each. He participated in the Europa League for Bologna as well, scoring three goals across four starts and two substitute appearances.
