Erik Ring, born on 24 April 2002 (age 24), is a Swedish left winger whose senior career has been shaped mainly by AIK. He came through there and built his early professional footing in Stockholm, making 50 league appearances across four seasons.
The important break in his development came away from AIK. His 2023 loan spell at Helsingborgs IF gave him regular football and his best return to date, with six goals in 29 league appearances. It was the sort of season young wide players need: minutes, responsibility, and less room for theory.
Ring later moved to Kilmarnock, where he wears the number eight shirt. In 2026-27 he has made two league appearances and five more in the League Cup, taking him to seven appearances in all competitions for the club.
His career so far is a Swedish one with a clear AIK base, a useful loan year at Helsingborgs, and a newer Scottish chapter at Kilmarnock still taking shape.
