Elie Youan, born on 7 April 1999 (age 27), is a French left winger whose senior career has come to be shaped chiefly by Hibernian. Before that, his development included loan football, the sort of stage where a young forward either learns to make his pace and directness count or remains more promise than product.
At Easter Road, Youan found the most substantial run of his career. Across four seasons with Hibs, he has made 97 league appearances and scored 20 league goals. His best league return came in 2022–23, when he scored nine times in 36 appearances, a useful output for a wide player in a side not built to make life especially tidy.
