Born on 1st December 2001, Dylan Tait is a Scottish-born midfielder who currently dons the jersey number 21 for Falkirk. Standing at 5ft 9in (1.76m) and weighing 11st (70kg), Tait's primary role lies in the central midfield. According to Transfermarkt, his market value hovers in the region of £255k.
Tait's football career saw substantial forward movement in January 2019, when he was offered the chance to join Raith Rovers in the Scottish Championship league. However, this bond was short-lived, as Tait transferred to Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership in August 2021. Unfortunately, perhaps due to performance issues or a lack of integration into the team, Tait was loaned out to his former club, Raith Rovers, the following month in September, and subsequently to Kilmarnock, another Premiership team, in January 2022.
During the 2022 - 2023 season, Tait was once again on the move, this time to Arbroath in the Scottish Championship. In this period, he managed to make an impressive 20 first team appearances in league matches. Dealing a blow to Hibernian, Tait transferred from the team in July 2023 to play for Hamilton Academical in Scotland's League One, albeit on loan.
His journey with Hibernian finally came to an end in January 2024, culminating in a loaned position with Falkirk in the Premiership. His performance here was notably stronger, with his subsequent seasons at Falkirk in 2024 - 2025 and 2025 - 2026 recording 33 and 22 first team appearances respectively, and a tally of three goals.
The productive output was seemingly enough to fully transfer Tait from Hibernian to Falkirk in July 2024 for an undisclosed fee. Alongside his league matches, he has been active in the 2025 - 2026 League Cup for Falkirk, managing four goals from four starts and a substitute appearance.
