Drey Wright, born on 30 April 1994 (age 32), is an English right winger now with Dundee, where he wears number seven. He is valued at around £64,000 by Transfermarkt, which places him firmly in the experienced, practical end of the market rather than the speculative one.
His most productive league season came at St Johnstone in 2022–23, when he scored seven goals in 38 appearances. That was a useful return from wide areas, and a reminder that Wright’s game has carried more than just mileage and shape.
At Dundee in 2026–27, he has made nine league appearances and scored one league goal. He has also played five times in the League Cup and twice in the Scottish Cup, scoring once there, taking him to 16 appearances and two goals in all competitions for the club.
Wright’s career has been that of a seasoned wide player in Scottish football, with St Johnstone giving him his strongest league campaign and Dundee his current platform.
