Delano Burgzorg, born on 7 November 1998 (age 27), is a Surinamese left winger with Middlesbrough. He wears the number 10 shirt and has a current market value of around £2.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His most productive league season came at Huddersfield Town in 2023–24, when he scored seven goals in 33 appearances. That remains the clearest marker of his attacking output so far: useful, occasionally sharp, but not the sort of return that needs dressing up.
In 2025–26 he was still a regular first-team presence. He made 15 league appearances for Bristol City, scoring once, before going on to play 25 league matches for Middlesbrough, with two goals. That kept him involved often enough to matter in the side, even if the numbers were modest.
Burgzorg’s career to this point is that of an established wide forward moving through the English game, with Huddersfield his best scoring spell and Middlesbrough his current platform.
