Daniel Klein, born on 13 March 2001 (age 25), is a German goalkeeper with Aberdeen, where he wears squad number 30. At a commanding 6ft 3in (1.91m), he has the frame expected of a modern keeper, though the senior league record attached to him remains modest.
His career is shaped chiefly by Sandhausen. In the 2023-24 season he made four league appearances there, which remains the clear reference point of his professional career rather than a passing footnote.
Klein is now part of the Aberdeen squad, with his career so far defined by a short but tangible spell at Sandhausen and his current place in Scottish football.
