Daniel Arzani was born in Khorramabad, Iran, on 4 January 1999 (age 27), and represents Australia. A compact right winger at 5ft 7in (1.71m), he came into Celtic’s orbit in August 2018, joining from Manchester City at a point when his promise was doing plenty of the work for him.
His Celtic spell sits early in a career that has since taken a more practical shape. The strongest league return of his senior career came with Melbourne Victory in 2023-24, when he scored four goals in 27 appearances. That is modest enough, but it remains his clearest season of regular production.
Arzani is now with Ferencvaros, wearing number 14 and listed primarily as a right winger. In 2026-27, he has made one Nemzeti Bajnokság I appearance. His current market value is around £340,000, according to Transfermarkt.
His career has run from Manchester City and Celtic through Australian football and on to Hungary, with flashes of attacking ability but a relatively lean senior record. At this stage, Arzani is an established professional still trying to turn promise into something more sustained.
