Connor Ronan, born on 6 March 1998 (age 28), is a Republic of Ireland central midfielder with Aberdeen, where he wears squad number 25. His career is best understood through the spells that gave him senior football, rather than through any great rush to declare him more than he is.
The key one was St Mirren in 2021-22. Ronan scored seven league goals in 27 appearances, his most productive league season, and showed he could affect games from midfield in the Scottish Premiership rather than simply tidy them up. That loan did more for his profile than most short-term moves tend to manage.
At Aberdeen in 2026-27, he has made three league appearances and five in the League Cup, giving him eight appearances across all competitions for the club. His career to this point is that of an established professional midfielder, shaped in large part by that St Mirren season and now continuing at Pittodrie.
